Joseph got ear tubes when he was 8 months or so and they still hadn't fallen out, so the doctor wanted to put him under to take them out and then to fill the hole where the tubes were at. He said he wanted them to come out no later than the first part of the year and with my situation I said lets get it done now. He was such a trooper. The doctor did a little cut on his left ear and took a chunk of skin at the bottom of the ear lobe to put into the right ear to patch the hole. The left ear did not need to be patched. This left Joseph with 3 stitches on his ear lobe that looked like he had a ear ring. He was really brave!
