Bringing Home the Bacon

A year ago, Lynar finished working for a Chinese company (Test Rite) and selling stainless steal trashcans to Walmart and went to work for Sterilite selling plastic trashcans. It seemed like a good fit and career move at the time and we felt good about the change. Who wouldn't want more money and a little change with similar job description and less travel? Sterilite turned out to be a terrible company to work for and his boss was one who made life miserable for all of us. When dad is stressed, we all are unhappy! Lynar is a very likable guy, but for some reason not to this boss. Lynar turned in his resignation in October with the hope that he was going to get an offer from another company, but the other company was unable to hire him like they thought. That started our 3 month with no paycheck experience. Wow! What a life learner for us. Never want to do that again. Job hunting and interviewing was a full time job!

In January, Lynar started working for Bar-S foods! He sells bacon now to Walmart! Also sausage and hot dogs! I took this picture of him one day when he brought home bacon from work. He is now truly "bringing home the bacon". He loves his job and everyone there (only 2 other guys in his office). He is starting to learn to cook. Yeah! Ok, so at least now he can cook up a good hot dog and bacon!
