Lynar and I helped on the committee that put together an Emergency preparedness Fair in our area. We had close to 4,000 people attend from the community. At the Fair, Dora and Shrek charactors were there to great the kids. Lyndee had her face painted as well. It was a lot of fun. Check out the website at www.nwapreparednessfair.com
Paramount Pictures (our friend Eric Brown works for them in this area) donated the costumes for the day. This was so great for them to do!
Mandy Karlsven and I were in charge of donations and in that included putting together 1,000 72 hour kits. This is what the room looked like with those 1/2 those kits. Below are the buckets that we got donated and put the 72 hour kits in. All items were donated by local vendors. That is where we are very glad we live in vendor world around Walmart!!! This was a very big project and we are glad that we had a lot of help putting all the items in the bag the Wednesday before the fair. On the website you can see a list of all the companies that donated!

Emergency Preparedness Fair
We also had lunch for 3,000 people donated. This is my friend Amanda who was in charge of the big lunch. This room was full of buns and chips and 3,000 cookies (we only snitched a few).

It's amazing how when some needs help everyone wants to pitch in. That looks amazing.
Shazam, that looks like a lot of work! Good job, though. Glad it was a success!
