Joseph --8 months and growing

Joseph turned 8 months old on February 1st.  I can't believe he is 3/4 of the way to a year now!!!  He is scooting backwards and turning around.  He finally did learn to turn over last month.  He is also very content to stay in one spot and reach with his long arms for anything that he can.  If he can't get something, he'll reach his arm so far forward that he belly flops on the ground, then once on his belly he can reach even further.  He's wearing 12 months clothes.  He still only has 2 bottom teeth.  He's had 6 rounds of antibiotics for his ears, so this past Tuesday on Feb. 8th, he got tubes in both ears to help them drain.  He had finished his 3rd straight round of antibiotics on Monday and when the doctor did the surgery he said that his ears were full of gunk again (last week they were clear).  Joseph ended up with ether RSV or bronchiolitis 2 weeks ago and was on breathing treatments for 5 days...we caught it early.  He loves to eat baby food as well....eating 3/4 cup of rice cereal and sometimes up to 2 jars of baby food.  He stopped sleeping through the night when he was 5 months old due to ear infections...lets hope he'll start sleeping throught the night again.  Joseph is such a calm natured spirit and so fun to have around.  He loves to laugh at mom and his sisters.  He will also pull their hair or knock them over when he can when he is being bothered (and he has every right to when he does).

This is our friend Adam who loves to hold Joseph.
Joseph shows ownership over his basket of toys!  He loves the fact that we put the basket by him and he will dump it over and play with all the toys.

Joseph is 23 lbs, 2 oz. and 28 1/2 inches long!
