Grandma Funeral November 2011

The one good thing about funerals is that you get to be with lots of family you are normally not around. Here are a few pics of my kids and their cousins.

Paytan, Lyndee, Allie

Charly and Brooky

Haley and Katelyn

This is all the cousins that came to the funeral (all but 5).  Two cousins are married and one has 2 kids (that are my two kids ages!  how fun!).

Love that cousins are so kind and good with their other cousins.

Sylvia's casket is the same (as I can remember) as her husband Royce's casket (he died almost 12 years ago this month)

This is the beautiful view looking out toward the town.

Not often do you get to watch the casket get put in the sealed box and lowered into the ground.  Look at all the kids around the edges (thankfully no one fell in, just a cell phone).

Lynar and his Brother Ryan shoveling dirt into the ground.  They also did this for their dad's funeral which was the first time that I saw a family fill in their parents grave, but it is kind of good closure.

Lyndee took her turn as well.  This is her cousin Bryce also filling in the grave.

The big family picture.  Hopefully we will all be able to be together for a reunion soon.  We had a lot of fun with everyone for a week in Alton.
It is weird not having Lynar's parents around and not calling them on Sunday night or when Lynar has time.  Feel's strange at this point.  We will miss grandma Young.
