Last Thursday Lyndee finished her last day of elementary school. I can't believe 6 years of school have come and gone and she is moving onto middle school in august. To finish the year, she received the reading award for her class for the year. That makes it 6 years in a row that she has gotten either the reading or writing award for the year! She is so smart! On top of that she was on the honor roll and got in the century club for her AR (accelerated reading) program. Most kids have a goal of making 20-40 points at her age per quarter, well she got 245.9 this last quarter. Had the 700+page star wars book she read the last week of school counted, she probably would have gotten almost 300 points. I am so proud of her.
The 5th graders also performed a 50's day program which was do dang cute! It was fun to watch all the girls be taller than all the boys!

yikes! I can't believe you're going to middle school next year Lyndee. It's been way too long since we've seen you. I still want you to be a lot younger than you are!
