Spring Break

We took the girls to the Wild Wilderness Drive through Safari about 35 minutes from our house. We had never been there and can't believe we haven't taken them there yet. It was a lot of fun. It is about a 5 mile drive through zoo along with a petting zoo with real kangaroos. This was a great zoo to go to since you don't have to walk (especially when your 9 months pregnant, except for the bumpy dirt road you drive on). No complaining that your kids feet hurt or that your too hot or too cold. We let Katelyn and Lyndee roam around the van so that they could see all the different animals .
The ostrich's kept coming up to our window. This picutre had no zoom--in fact Lynar had to lean back to get the picture. Sometimes we had to wait for them to get out of the road. We saw all types of animals such as Camels, Lions, Tigers, Aligators, turtles, deer, antelope, buffalo, monkeys, and more......
Kate thought it was fun to ride on Dad's lap the last 1/2 mile.
Petting the Kangaroo...
I don't know who was more scared and jumped faster....Kate or the Kangaroo!!! Katelyn kept chasing the Kangaroo around the field. Lyndee enjoyed feeding the goats as well.

That zoo sounds like so much fun. We hope to make it to a zoo this summer.
