A few nights ago, Lyndee was walking down the stairs, reading of course, and fell down a few stairs at the bottom. She was screaming and so I went over to her and checked out her hurt ankle. She was able to move it in all directions, no swelling, and no instant bruising, so I told her that it was ok and got her up to walk on it. She was just fine!
As soon as Lyndee got up to walk, here comes Brooklyn, falls in the same position that Lyndee had been lying, and starts holding her foot and saying, "foot, foot", then she started to fake cry. She was totally making fun of her older sister! Thankfully Lyndee thought it was funny that her one year old sister was making fun of her instead of getting mad.
Brooklyn is very good at imitating her older sisters and "making fun" of them. What a hoot! She always makes us laugh.
Another story:
About a month ago when we were in church, Brooklyn was doing just fine, until she say her friend Lanie, who was a few rows in front of us start crying and so her dad took her out. Well, Brooklyn, happy as could be, looked at me then started to fake cry and then wanted me to pick her up and take her out. Nope, didn't work and when I told her I knew she wasn't going out, she stopped her fake crying and went back to her play.
