A year ago yesterday, Brooklyn was at children's hospital in Little Rock having her surgery for her lump in her neck. The past couple of days I have been contemplating all the things that I learned from that incidence and how it has taught me to be very thankful for my kids everyday. I am still so grateful for the wonderful doctors who took out the lump in a place where so many things could've gone wrong. The scar is barely noticeable now, even though it goes from the middle of her neck to behind her ear. Brooklyn is a special girl and I love her so much!
