It's been years since we've pulled out the china dishes and sterling silver silverware, but we thought it was a special occassion and it was just our family this time. (Usually we have people over or we go somewhere, but this time the Brooksby's who we had plans with had to go back to Utah for a funeral).
Wow....the girls loved it, we learned more about manners, plus they really felt like it was a special day.
The girls keep asking to eat on the special plates! It was a big hit and teaching the etique was a great thing as well. We will definately be using our china more often with the girls.
Yummy dinner too!!! The girls helped cook the rolls, potatoes, ham, and salad. It was a tasty meal.

Looks like you had a nice day! We miss you guys each holiday!
Such a special occasion. It is so nice to be a little family all together on a special day, with special food and dishes making special memories for all of you. Wonderful to see such a sweet busy Mom preparing an Easter dinner with so much love. Thanks for sharing
Sounds fun! My great-grandma likes to randomly ask when we last used our china because she was the one who gave it to us. I like to be able to give her an honest answer, so we try to use it pretty often. Maybe the etiquette lessons will come later. :)
