Lyndee Happenings

Lyndee's 4th grade class sang on Veterans Day.  She was very excited....she loves to sing!

Lyndee has been doing a program at school called Girls on the Run.  It is a program for girls in grades 3-5 and they stay after school 2 days a week for an hour and a half to learn some good life skills and help with self esteem, then they train for a 5K.  A few weeks ago she finished the program and she ran the 5K.  She was required to run with a buddy and that buddy was me.  I did not train very well, only 2 times, but we still made it.  I think that Lyndee could have gone much faster than me, but the hills killed me!  She was singing and talking the whole time we were running....saying "keep a smile on your face!"  I would just tell her I'm trying to stay alive!
All these prictures were after the race.  Her school was one of many in the race.  All the girls had orange shirts and buddy runners had white.  Her school, all of us wore bandanas on our heads so we could see who was from Tucker.  All the girls were number 1 as well....what a confidence booster.
Lynar brought Katelyn and Brooklyn and Joseph up to see us after the race.  We all had Tucker stickers under our eyes.
 Lyndee had a great time!

 Isn't he cute?

Since Lyndee loves to climb trees, we gave her the job of putting Christmas lights in the tree!  She did a great job!!!
Very proud of Lyndee!
