Lyndee wanted to go to the Wild Wilderness Drive Through Safari for her Birthday Party! It is a Drive Through Zoo in Gentry, Arkansas! We love it! Animals will come right up to your vehicle and you can be daring and pet some....or follow the rules and keep the windows up. Let's just say that a car full of girls, they were pretty daring! I think it was the zebra that they let all the flies into our van after petting.
The toughest part of her party was cutting the number of friends back to only 6! We could fit 6 girls, plus Lyndee in our van, so it was tough for her to decide. Lynar drove the truck with Brooklyn and Katelyn so they could go as well.
What a fun party!!!
After driving through and seeing the lions, tigers, buffalo, ect., the girls went and saw some smaller animals by foot, then went to pet the kangaroo's, goats, and other animals. We had a picnic and then cake on a picnic table at the park! It was too windy to light the candles, but Lyndee pretended and we all sang!
Her friends.....back...Tarin, Megan, Emma, Allison
front....Brianna, Lyndee, Emmaline, Katelyn
Lyndee had a great time!
The picnic!
The kangaroo petting!!! So fun!!!
Girls loved to pose!
Brooklyn was making funny faces making all of Lyndee's friends laugh. She has learned to be the center of the attention no matter what the occassion!
I started thinking how lucky we were to get out of there without anyone getting hurt (lots of running around in flip flops), then right as we were started to round the girls up, one of Lyndee's friend climbed on a metal roof of the goat and pig house (it was low to the ground) and she cut her leg jumping off. Luckily her mom is also a nurse so she wasn't to upset.....but she ended up having to get her 3 inch cut glued together that night....plus her tetnus shot!

Looks like good times, despite the injury! The cake looks really good, too.
Fun party Lyndee! We're sad we couldn't be there! We're glad you had such a fun birthday.
Oh my, this is so familiar. 'So fun to see the animals and hear of the kids driving. Memories are so delightful of when I was there with them. \I see you are using some of the Penny's pictures that were so cute along the side of your blog. So darling each of them. Thanks for blogging, Jen
