Bryce Canyon

The beginning of our 3rd week in Utah we headed down to Southern Utah! First stop was Bryce Canyon. Lynar grew up in Alton, which is just an hour away from Bryce and you can actually see some of the pinks from Alton. Even though we've been to Alton numerous times since being married we had never taken the drive to Bryce Canyon. I have been wanting to do this for years and this was the perfect opportunity! It is so beautiful and one of my favorite National Parks!

The pictures don't do this justice.

We took the easy hikes (which there are quite a few kid friendly hikes that don't make mom's so nervous). Katelyn is our big complainer and never likes to walk anywhere we go, even though she is 4! We came prepared with the back pack for her to ride in on Lynar's back, and Brooklyn got to ride on mom's back in a back pack. This is also why we went on kid friendly hikes--it is much tougher to go up hills with 20-40 pounds on your back!

We took the shuttle around Bryce to the different hikes so we didn't have to keep taking the kids off our backs and buckling them in the car seats! It was fun to ride for the kids as well. Bryce Canyon was not quite as crowded as the other parks we went to!
