While in Utah we had the chance to go to the Oquirrh Mountain Utah LDS Temple open house. During Temple open houses, anyone is able to go inside the Temple's for a self-guided tour. It was such a neat experience for the girls to see what the Temple is like on the inside. Once a temple is dedicated only members of the LDS church who have a special recommend are able to go inside. The girls were able to see the room that couples get married in. It was cool for them because their Uncle Paul was getting married that week.

My family who went to the open house with us....Steve, my girls, my mom, Jen (my brother Ben's wife) and her two boys, Alex, and Jeremy. Jen had a baby 5 days later! Doesn't she look great!
The kids posed so well with their cousins! Look how good Brooklyn is just sitting in a perfect picture pose. She did that all herself. If only all pictures were this easy!
Me and my girls in front of the Temple. Lyndee really enjoyed the temple and she said that she could feel the spirit inside the temple. You get such a great feeling when inside the temple. It is such a peaceful place to be! I can't wait for the temple to be built close to our home in Kansas City!!!

It looks exactly like the Rexburg Temple. Pretty cool! Glad you were able to go.
